Spies

Rob is standing outside the bathroom when I leave. I watch him warily, but he doesn't do anything. Just watches me. I don’t know why he’s up here. Bradley said earlier the second floor was the girls’ floor.

“He’s watching you because he’s a spy in the game,” the rat says as I return to my room to put some proper clothes on.

I’m surprised because I didn’t think rats could speak, and I stare at it.

“You need a new to-do list,” the rat says.

The rat is right.

So I make a brand new one because I can’t remember where the other one is or what it was I wanted to add to it.

ASK OTHERS IF THE RAT SPEAKS TO THEM.

ACTUALLY DON’T.

FEED THE RAT.

WORK OUT IF THE RAT IS A SPY.

STAY HIDDEN [DOES THAT MEAN BLEND IN? THIS MIGHT BE DIFFICULT AS I’M SUPPOSED TO GO TO MY FIRST SEMINAR TODAY.]
